Now i am sure that you all have heard the news and i am sure you are all just as excited as us back home, but the baby Rowyn is adorable!!
i love her name, but i have to admit that i am not quite remembering it yet, although i have developed a perfect reminder. Rigo And Rowyn! it works great lol. i have a terrible memory for names and i am sad i forget her name at times, but i always end up remembering it.

David sounds like he is doing well. i am happy to hear of him every time he sends a letter. he is so great and i cant wait till he gets home--though i am happy that he is on his mission.
Love you all-- have a happy Morning--Noon...... ish?-- or evening. if its not that then you should probably be getting to bed...... Katelyn?? lol jk love you all!!!!

hello everyone, how is life today.
i know that it has been forever since i have written on here but my excuse is pretty good concidering the bopps left and so our source for internet is now the library. Fourteen miles away from our house.
so i have been great lately, right now i am at the UNK library, the reason being: i met with this english professor today and it went really well, he gave me a bunch of great ideas and i just cant wait to get started on them. he is a really cool guy and i hope that i will be able to learn more from him over these next coming weeks.
i have been doing school this morning, at least after i got out from being with him. i have had a pretty good day, i just also went to a writing class with michael... it was about this dude named throro or something like this but he wrote and essay about civil disobedience. now i cant wait for college. i am looking forward to it emmensly.
so pretty much what the guy was teaching me at the cafe` was that i need to just emerse myself into something other than writing and just go with the flow and eventually the writing will come to me and i just need to show up at the desk every day for at least three hours and just write. if i dont have anything to say than i just write about how i have nothing to write about. i just have to sit there, i dont nessecarily have to write but i just cant do anything else the whole time.
so write now michael i practicing the tuba with his piano accompianist and i am sitting here working on my school and on this blog. i have had a great day today.
Yesterday, or was it the day before? anyway we were out in the garden just picking tomatoes and like fifty water melons and cantelope and a whole bunch of pumpkins. other than the large amount of six foot tall weeds our garden did fairly well this year.
Nebraska has been so dry this year and it has never looked more like a desert. we have had like a hundred fires around here. and we have had tons of tragedies, including the whole blue hill bus crash with four kids killed, The two coaches killed and the kids injured in the basketball crash, and the most saddening for us, Landon Deakin.
i think the land of nebraska kind of reflects the events that have been occuring. the whole ordeal has been terrible.
now back on a happier note.
I want to know how everybody else has been? how have your lives been?
Vaughn, i sure want to wish you a good luck on your college. i know that god has big plans for you.
Darla!! i bet your real happy that josh is home now. How does that feel having him there beside you to watch your beatiful todd grow up to be a young man. i think we all need to make sure we dont take those simple things that will matter most in the end for granted.
I have been working extra hard on my writing these days and i see a future in autorship in my path ahead, but who knows. i just see that i really enjoy writing, i find that as my strongest point and i just plain love it. the guy i talked to today was very supporting and thought that i should keep persuing it too so i think that is what i am going to do.
Dave!!! KEEP STUDYING!! i really think that it would be good for you to get your ACT!
Right now i am working on a physics class with michael and we are studying formula's to figure out how fast the item you drop is going when it hits the ground and how fast its ecceleration is by messuring the distance and speed that you drop it at and it has actually been very interesting way to learn math and i just love doing it. i hate plain ol' math, im loving physics.
life at the ol' school house has been good. its kinda empty with just the four of us around the house and i feel like maybe you should all move back in (HAHA)
Ryan and melody are moving to broken bow and i think that it is going to be good for them. they actually baught a house this time so i think it is going to be a little more permanent this time. the house that they got is very nice and orderly and i think it is a nice place for them to stay. although it may be a little different when they can just walk outside their door and get to the grocery store in less than five minutes.
Sometimes i kind of wished we lived in town, i think my life would be a slightly more social one and i could just go to the park and play basketball with some friends. but in some ways i would miss the big house. after all i hardly remember the other house except getting on the roof and getting in trouble.
semenary has been great lately. this morning we learned about the transfiguration of peter, james and john and jesus. it was great learning and i think that people are managing to stay awake better this year than they were last year.
I cant believe i am fifteen, its been crazy. i really want to get my permit but its been such a drag and i can only get in to town if someone were going in anyway and we hardly ever do that on fridays and mondays.
well, i had better get back to my studys. love yall and hope you all give me some feedback! see you!

I WANNA HEAR SOME NEWS!
hello everyone,
now i know that you all want to hear from home but i also want some news, if you could each email me @ { bigfoot.hokanson@gmail.com } that would be great, just a short story or some kind of little letter.
York is getting large, i would post a picture but i only have a limited time to do this stuff. keegan has been taking very good care of him and has been teaching him good manners.
keegan and i have been playing alot of basketball, and were both getting very good, i have been working mostly on jumping strength because i may be the tallest in our family but i can still be outjumped by pretty much everybody.
so leisa, how are you doing? i havent heard from you for a while, found a boy yet? lol jk not trying to rush you or anything.
i would like to thank you david for reminding me to do this, i just have been very busy lately and not had time to think about it.
eileen, i think that is way cool... your uhhhh... first poop bomb, lol. how bout you tell us about that ;)
mom had been doing pretty good i think, she is at this time reading in her room, but we have had a good morning so far. i have already finished my math and reading and i am planning on doing my piano as soon as i am done here.
sharon is making corn fritters for breakfast and they smell amazing. i cant wait.
Dad has been doing really good, we finally got him to stop eating all the nasty things that are bad for him. he has kind of given in to giving up eating things. lol
well i love you all, but i have got motzart to learn. see you all later.
ADIOS! haha (i know, wrong spelling.)

THIS POST GOES TO DAVID,
David, i knew that you asked for another post so here you go:
at the moment dad, mom, and talmage are watching a documentary on Jimmer (thought you would like this dave) that dad just bought today, vaughn is, well, walking around and talking and just, well, ya.
keegan just bought a yoyo on our trip to utah and hes swinging it around.
the truth right now is the family is doing okay, we just had a new addition to the family, named Maggie storm Stoker. she is the cutest baby this year and she is also the BIGGEST baby this year wearing three month old clothes.
i just had the opportunity to go visit the little angel and was so grateful.
and i am also very grateful to be able to say: I HAVE BEEN TO UTAH THE MOST THIS YEAR!!!! haha i am very proud of myself.
another thing that i have been happy about is that i have been doing great writing in my journal. but something sad happened. i left it at aunt gays and uncle brents (dont judge me eileen :) lol and i was wondering--since i dont have there number-- if somebody could get a hold of them and see if they could send it to me. it is in the downstairs bedroom by the bed.
i was wanting to tell you all that all this blog writing takes work and it would make my job much easier if i could have some comments--nudge nudge wink wink-- just so you guys know.
i am very sad at the moment because we are having rib fest for scouts this friday and saturday, i know that doesn't sound like something i should be sad about, but there's a catch. we have basketball games the same day in Hastings. so it kind of stinks that i dont get to go to rib fest. (if you thought that i would rather go to rib fest you were sadly mistaken)
another thing that involves basketball that is sad is that our team had a game while i was in utah. the happy thing about it was that we were playing the CFE falcons (remember them david?) and we beat them!!! we never could beat them and it was getting bad, but we finally beat them! another sad thing is that i wasnt there to see it :(
anyway, ive got some stuff to do... love you all!!
hope you enjoyed this david!

Eileen,
I AM A LITTLE DISSAPOINTED! it doesnt look like you have read any of my posts!
TUT TUT TUUUUUUT
TUT TUT TUUUUUUT
Christmas is over!
Okay,
so i realized how long it had been since i had posted on here and i didn't want to give this up,
Christmas was great for me and i hope you all had an equally enjoyable and spiritual time.
I have to say that my most important gift was the one that i received from Mom, she handed me an envelope Christmas morning and i remember sitting there in the great big blue chair thinking, what could i possible get from this small envelope? well, anticipating something different i ripped open the top of the small paper container and pulled out a bunch of type papers, just seeing the back of the paper i didn't realize how important to me this present was about to become, i turned the paper to face me and saw that there was--in my hands, the next step prep application forms. i had no idea how these could be a present because on the papers there was just my name filled in, what could it be? Mom seeing that i dropped a little piece of rapping paper and she picked it up and laid it on my hands, i opened the folded piece of paper and read "Lyle, Your Dad and I love you very much, and we want to see your dreams come true, so i am paying your $50.00 dollar application fee! have a merry Christmas." I was SO happy, going to Next Step Prep is one of my ultimate goals and dreams, I know that it costs five thousand dollars, but i believe that even with my laziness i will be able to make it if i work hard and "keep on keeping on."
I love you all guys and hope that you all work hard to keep progressing toward your dreams, David, you just keep working on that mission, i love you and support you in your work, i have made arrangements to go out with the missionarys in the hope that i can be like you and someday serve a full time mission for two years. And Darla and Josh, your chance is not up, when you are old enough you can go on a mission together! how cool is that!?
Well i hope you all know that i love you, im sorry i didnt have time to write more but i have school to do, love you all.
have a good life- LYLE-
