Okay,
so i realized how long it had been since i had posted on here and i didn't want to give this up,
Christmas was great for me and i hope you all had an equally enjoyable and spiritual time.
I have to say that my most important gift was the one that i received from Mom, she handed me an envelope Christmas morning and i remember sitting there in the great big blue chair thinking, what could i possible get from this small envelope? well, anticipating something different i ripped open the top of the small paper container and pulled out a bunch of type papers, just seeing the back of the paper i didn't realize how important to me this present was about to become, i turned the paper to face me and saw that there was--in my hands, the next step prep application forms. i had no idea how these could be a present because on the papers there was just my name filled in, what could it be? Mom seeing that i dropped a little piece of rapping paper and she picked it up and laid it on my hands, i opened the folded piece of paper and read "Lyle, Your Dad and I love you very much, and we want to see your dreams come true, so i am paying your $50.00 dollar application fee! have a merry Christmas." I was SO happy, going to Next Step Prep is one of my ultimate goals and dreams, I know that it costs five thousand dollars, but i believe that even with my laziness i will be able to make it if i work hard and "keep on keeping on."
I love you all guys and hope that you all work hard to keep progressing toward your dreams, David, you just keep working on that mission, i love you and support you in your work, i have made arrangements to go out with the missionarys in the hope that i can be like you and someday serve a full time mission for two years. And Darla and Josh, your chance is not up, when you are old enough you can go on a mission together! how cool is that!?
Well i hope you all know that i love you, im sorry i didnt have time to write more but i have school to do, love you all.
have a good life- LYLE-
Thanks Lyle, Josh and I do plan on serving many missions. I know we will also do a lot of serving while Josh is in the Army. I am glad you had a great Christmas!
